From the song
Lina لينا by SNX
A Moroccan-dialect love song with a shifting sky. The hook says she can be seen from far away and appears to them at the end as the best thing in the world, with a prayer that God guide her. He tells her that she was big to him, beautiful and beloved. Then the verse turns into a confession about night and day. He lived in a sea of darkness while her sun was inside him. For her, the day was life, abundant and fine, and for him the night was life, circling around him. Others have no place in her life. The stars and the night know him, but he left, and love ran away from him.
Deeper meaning
The song builds an opposition between her day and his night, which is a quiet way of saying that they lived in different worlds even while in love. The last line, about love running away, is the sad one, and the hook about seeing her from far away makes the distance part of the picture.
