From the song
Beyhol Enni Ashaq بيقول إني أعشق by SNX
An Egyptian-dialect song about being accused of shallow love. People say he falls for a pair of eyes, that he is a liar who cannot keep faith, and that he loves for two days and is done. He answers that he spent the night awake, that his tears were close to blood, and that all of it turned into a joke anyway. They keep repeating that his love is a two-day affair. Then the song quotes the old saying that the lover is mad and love is fire, mentions those who loved and suffered before him, and notes that people say one thing about him and another thing about the feeling inside him. The chorus comes back with the accusation, sung back at the accuser.
Deeper meaning
The song is a defence against being doubted. The chant about "two days" is what the world says, and his sleepless night is what he says. Singing the accusation is how he takes the sting out of it. It also hints that the real hurt is not being believed.
