الوردة

From the song
Al Warda الوردة by SNX
A Moroccan and Gulf mix of a love song about a rose and a fire. The hook asks the rose to melt, even the hearts, while he burns on the fire. He says he is in a thousand flames and cannot settle, his heart is burning and the world is celebrating. His beloved said something, and the moon, when it shows its back, hides. He asks to be left with only the kiss. Then he says he fell into a feverish love in this moment, and that between him and her there is separation, and he asks to be guided through the cooling of a love. The ending pleads that the rose should melt and not bring trouble, because he loved it with his heart and it is still in his head.
Deeper meaning
The rose is the beloved, and melting is what he asks of her and of himself. The picture of a heart on a fire while everyone else celebrates gives the song an outsider's loneliness. Asking the rose not to bring trouble suggests that he wants the love to end quietly.
