A slow Egyptian-flavoured love song about measuring a lifetime by one person. The sun has set on his world and the night is long, but he keeps sending her light and says that his love can ease the harshness of the days. He accepts being deprived and is content with himself. He looked at his life ahead and found it just as he had reckoned it. The refrain keeps circling the same idea: life was full and was counted in days, yet there is no real life except in the moments with her. The hook comes back again and again like a counting rhyme, as if he were adding up the years and always arriving at one answer.
