Al Noor

A gentle, formal-Arabic love song about light. In her eyes something pulses like rain, watering a thirsty land and making the trees sing. She is a dream that wakes him. He asks how he could live without her and how the wind could travel without its voice. The refrain calls to the light as the pulse of the sky and the inspiration of life. Stories write him anew and her heart holds secrets, a deep sea and a spell that gathers him with distant stars. He cannot imagine his heart beating without remembering the light. In her eyes is a new morning that wraps and warms him. He calls her the dream and the reality, the road in his darkness, the hope in the night and the love in the heart, and at night he searches for her in silence and in the sound of the waves.
