Ya Lli Nawait Tashghalni

ياللي نويت تشغلني

Poems inspired by SNX's songs, retold by AIA Labs.

From the song

Ya Lli Nawait Tashghalni ياللي نويت تشغلني by SNX

An Egyptian flirt. You who intend to drive me crazy, tell me, what will you do? The magic of your eyes has bewitched me. Look what you do to me: when I caught sight of you over there, I forgot what I was doing. The question is repeated as a tease, and a pair of breathy ohs close the track.

Deeper meaning

The title is a line thrown at a beloved who is doing it on purpose. It is a song about being so distracted by someone that the day falls apart, said with delight and not with complaint.
