Walk Alone

An English-language rap in the Arabic x English hip-hop series. A speaker chooses an empty road over the wrong hand to hold, and cold honest silence over warmth built on a lie. The room was once full of faces and none of them stayed, so he learned to be the shelter he had waited for. He asks you not to pity the long walker: he is not lonely, he is finished pretending that a crowd can be a home. He is not afraid of the quiet or the night. In the second half he admits he does want company but will not beg to belong, that the people who left taught him more than the ones who stayed, and that being alone and being lonely are different things. If the only company worth keeping is his own, he is never really walking alone.
