A two-voiced love song in Egyptian Arabic. He and she keep circling the same confession: you are my madness, you are my life, and this love is the whole story. In the verse he says he sees her everywhere, even when she looks past him. She answers in kind. She loves him even on the days she is angry with him, and in her eyes he is simply the finest of all. It is two people telling each other they are seen.
Deeper meaning
The song is about love that survives being misread. The lovers are not always looking at each other, but each keeps holding the other in mind. Anger and love sit in the same breath, and the anger does not cancel the love. It reads as a small, warm study in constancy: being loved on the days you are hardest to love.
