From the song
Sibak سيبك by SNX
An Egyptian-Arabic song of advice. The chorus tells a friend to leave the stories and the chatter and to listen only to himself. He should drop what people say, because in truth it is of no use. Then it turns to a lover: come, my love, let us live through the distance, which is hard and should be taken a little easier. They lived days and years that were sweet, some people came and went, and others turned out to be as good as jewels. Some get upset with people without a word and then say everyone has changed. No one really knows anything, yet everyone is talking and telling stories. Even the one who stands there gossiping about others might be the subject of someone else's story.
Deeper meaning
The title is a casual phrase meaning "forget it" or "let it go", and the song makes it a small philosophy. The warning at the end, that the gossip may one day be about you, turns a comforting line into something sharper, and the phrase about people being like jewels shows that the song is not bitter about everyone.
