From the song

A romantic Gulf-flavoured track that plays on the idea that her looks are a kind of blasphemy, too beautiful to be innocent. He smiles and says that autumn passes around him while he is coloured like the blossoms. He paints her face on the clouds and says all beauty stands in one line while she stands alone in another. Her land is paradise and the rest is passing. Her eyes are magic, her heart is fire and sorcery, and one glance is enough to make him fly. Everyone at the gathering sleeps, but their eyes hold secrets and dreams. He hides his longing, calls her a rose and himself dust, and asks who will speak for him on the day of judgement when everyone seems to be on her side. His heart is lost in her and she does not know it. He is a fire where others see mercy, his tears have turned to rain, and he drinks her love like a cup of danger.

Deeper meaning

The word that gives the song its edge is the Arabic for "unbelief", used playfully: her gaze is so powerful it feels like a sin to be so moved. The song borrows religious language, the day of judgement and unbelief, to talk about desire, which gives it a mix of devotion and guilt. It also hints at a lopsided love, rose and dust, in which only one side is burning.
