Book 05 · Walk TallMy Madness
هبالي
Poems inspired by SNX's songs, retold by AIA Labs.
From the song
My Madness هبالي by SNX
A love song in Moroccan Arabic and English. Her face is a moon over the whole world. He asks her to come a little closer, because one glance made him forget his head, his name and the road home. When she says his name, the world stops. He tells her she is the one who drove him mad, then asks her not to leave him here.
Deeper meaning
Love as sweet madness, a loss of self that feels like freedom. The beloved's beauty is cosmic (the moon), while the lover shrinks to someone who cannot even find his way home.
