From the song
Laheeb لهيب by SNX
A Moroccan and English song about a flame. He asks whether she had someone to replace him, dear one, whether she forgot, left a mark in his heart, and why she did not say where she had been. The English chorus is a plea: he knows she is the one, and she can save him, in some of the moments he feels now. He asks to be left to cry, to have his tears wiped, and says he wishes her only good and wants them to live on the notes of the moon. He begs her, for God's sake, not to wreck their life. Their life, he says, is complete in itself: it has a palace, a stage, art and everything, flowers and all.
Deeper meaning
The title word means "flame". The song shows someone asking for rescue and also saying he will let go, the double wish of a breakup. The picture of a life with a palace and a stage turns the relationship into something worth saving, and so gives the plea a reason.
