Hayet

حيت

Poems inspired by SNX's songs, retold by AIA Labs.

From the song

Hayet حيت by SNX

A hypnotic chant of mutual knowing: *I know you want me, so we fall to the ground together*. Between the hooks the Maghrebi verses are too garbled to read.

Deeper meaning

The title word usually means "because" in North African Arabic, so the song is an unfinished sentence: a reason without its consequence, desire and surrender hanging in the air.
