A first-person statement from a tired man in Moroccan Darija. He is anxious, he lives in torment, he sits awake at night under a heavy load. In his country the truth has been hidden and justice is far away. He says he never wanted to hate anyone and never changed. His children turned on him and wanted him to become bad. People hurt him, and he forgives them. The love in his heart will never leave. At home they say hard things about him though he caused no harm to anyone. From today he will live as he is. The chorus asks, in a prayer-like voice, to be loved for who he is. A blessing follows for whoever brought the beloved one.
