Focus

He was moving fast with no direction, every choice impulsive, busy but never asking why, filling each empty second to quiet his head. Then he cut off the noise, sat with his thoughts, and found that what he was missing was focus. One thing at a time. Distraction steals hours one by one until it is midnight and you cannot say what you did. He put away the pieces and gave his attention to what is in his heart. A scattered mind builds nothing, but a patient, focused fire melts anything.
