Book 07 · Dance Floor HeartBig Ghashi
بيغ غاشي
Poems inspired by SNX's songs, retold by AIA Labs.
From the song
Big Ghashi بيغ غاشي by SNX
A playful Moroccan slang track whose title mixes English and a word for the ordinary crowd. The captions are unreliable here, but the sense is a speaker who says he does not want the old ways in the city. Nobody gets in. Everything has a problem, and it is not a problem. A spoken English line near the end mentions swimming stars and spotlights.
Deeper meaning
The theme looks like attitude, a performer's shrug at gatekeeping. The repeated idea that everything is a problem and also not a problem is the slogan of someone who has decided not to be bothered.
