The title means "me and my heart." The singer has travelled the world and found he was alone everywhere. He is surprised by his silent heart and says they lived a love story that began in sadness and never finished, and probably never will; it is a real love, he thinks, between one heart and another. So he walks beside himself, talks to himself and hugs himself, and finds the heart does not need anything. Wherever she goes, he and the night will keep watch at her door, and tell her how his life is without her. Whatever the length of the journey he will find her, even at the end of his life, and even if it is only for a moment that she sings for him. If God wills, he will return to her, he and his heart.
