From the song
Aktar أكثر by SNX
An affirmation chant in Egyptian Arabic. I know I deserve more, he says, and you deserve more, and she deserves more, and all of us deserve more. It opens with the sound of a guest room, and the line is then repeated across the whole track, with a stretch of unheard dialogue in the middle.
Deeper meaning
The song is a collective permission slip. It starts with me, moves to you, then she, then everyone, so the demand grows from private self-worth into a shared one. There is no complaint in it, only the steady refusal to accept less.
