From the song
Wkafaya وكفاية by SNX
An Egyptian woman's break-up song that keeps failing to be one. She says she told him her heart had had enough and that she should have said long ago that he would not find anyone like her. Now she does not want anything, and does not see the point of taking back what was. She says she is leaving, then asks herself how she can leave with a heart that does not understand. She jokes with him and then says it was all a joke, that even if she found she no longer wanted him she would say so. Every day is lost and every night grows. His absence keeps growing, blame keeps arriving, and each time she says enough. Each time he wears her down, her longing grows, and she says enough. Each time she says she will leave him, she finds he is her beloved. If it were not for the fear of the wound, she would leave the universe and go to him.
Deeper meaning
The word in the title is the one she keeps using, "enough", and the song's joke is that it never works. It is an honest picture of staying: the head says leave, the heart repeats the same plea, and the chorus only shows that saying it is not the same as meaning it. The last line gives the real reason, which is not hope but fear of being hurt again.
