The Storm Will Pass

The rain falls dressed in gold and the thunder stays outside his hands. He lets it fall; it does not reach the heart, which is protected. The night broke, the wind howls, and pressure cleans. The storm washes away the fake. Seasons are his weapons and patience his throne. He stands alone with his flag raised, like a pearl under the sea: let it come, let it go.
