From the song

Surah صورة by SNX

An Egyptian song about a picture. We live on the same earth, in the same world, on the same planet, you and I, and there is no difference between us. The word for picture is repeated: me and you in the same frame. The long middle verse remembers a shared story, the most beautiful of a lifetime. Years that kept their beauty, because of a love that came before.

Deeper meaning

The picture is the proof that two people share a world. The song moves from a universal idea, that no one is separate from anyone, to a personal one, that a love can make years worth keeping. It is the most hopeful and least conflicted of the recent run.
