Ma'ak معاك by SNX

A bilingual love song, Arabic and English, about wanting to share happiness. The speaker wishes he could be happy with her and have the whole world rejoice with him, and that he could keep her and keep wishing. They love each other and rejoice when they see each other. If he had any choice, he would choose her, and no day should pass in distance from her. Whatever circumstances turn their faces away, he is with her, and this is reality, not imagination. She is the dearest love in the world. In English he says he needs her to understand, that his mind is with her, that he was always right there by her side, and he asks if she can feel it.

Deeper meaning

The title means "with you", and the song is a long answer to the question of what it means to stay. It joins the sweetness of a wish with the plain statement that this is not fantasy, which gives it a settled, confident tone rather than a longing one. The English lines act as a second voice speaking the same promise.
