Hit Fash

A Moroccan Darija spoken-rap about how life changes when success arrives. Everything is fine now and everything laughs, but it is not like before: the small ones have grown and the lesser ones have risen. The friends who used to make fun of him now dance to his tunes; everyone is working and visiting. He lists the things he used to do for the sake of fun and now does for the sake of reason. Then the advice to the listener: do something that makes the world notice you, do something that makes your friends proud, walk the road and follow your path, read something that helps you, find something that lifts your ambition, write a song for your friends. If you stay home and wait, you will end up waiting up all night. The ending turns into a puzzled chorus about who brought us here and where we are going, closing on a sung syllable.
