From the song

Hasa حاسة by SNX

An Egyptian song that starts in a dark place and climbs out. The voice says he feels he is dying, his tears cannot see, his nerves are wrecked and the world is dying with him. A strange courtroom scene follows, a judge, a daughter, a confused bargain about who is to be taken where, told like a bad dream. Then the camera widens. Good and evil surround us, and we circle around each other. People are born without knowing why, they die and come back, and we are all in the middle of a turning wheel, sometimes up, sometimes down, and then up again. The middle of the song says we feel lost and afraid. Then comes the turn: hands raised to the sky when His name is said. And the last promise, addressed to someone alone in the dark: you are alone, I am with you, and I will not leave you, however far away you are.

Deeper meaning

This is the most philosophical song in the recent run. It uses the image of the wheel to say that despair is a position and not a destination. The sky and the name are the answer to the fear, and the human promise at the end, to stay with the person who is far away, gives it its warmth. It moves from feeling like the end to a vow not to abandon someone.
