Glory

Glory came after the pain. Those who wrote him off never saw him. Every night was a mountain and every step a war, but he passed through the dark and now sees the sun. Every tear he planted he now sees grown. From the pit to the throne, from the ground to a palace he built himself, in a land made sacred. Every step he took, every door that opened, was mercy and a sign. He remembers who carried him.
