Eyes Never Lie

He walked through doubt with no map and no guide, but his eyes could see, and the dream in them was long. Eyes cannot lie even when the road breaks. People told him to come down; his eyes said go up. He met pain and said welcome, met loss and made it a lesson, and built himself from zero, from dust and stone; every scar his eyes saw became a crown. Nobody believed him, so his eyes believed for him. In English: they looked at the storm and did not blink, stared at the edge and refused to look away. He stopped asking permission from those who never saw the fire that rebuilt him.
