Time is a gift. The singer pictures people living on this planet for a million years and still missing the point. A story comes down from a grandchild and a mother, and one idea is repeated: what passes is fleeting, what remains belongs to God. The song divides people into those whose dreams are dead and those with a little passion left, and asks that passion to burn on, inside a world that has gone empty.
