From the song
Agoul أقول by SNX
The title means "I'll say" or "let me tell you." A half-sung, half-spoken Egyptian and Gulf track. He told her not to disappear, and his eyes grew tired of waiting. Memories and no excuses fill the days; he is still living on the old things, asking why the love still occupies him and where she is. The spoken part answers a visitor: did you come to fight or to joke? Everyone knows everything about life, he says; he only wants two words and then he will say goodbye. He gives a rule of thumb: if you hurry the end early, that is seeking guidance; if you hurry it for the sake of the end itself, that is trading. He closes on consolation: when life tests him he tells himself it will pass, and the night can only be so long.
Deeper meaning
A recovering lover's speech, mixing sorrow and street-wise advice. The rule of thumb is the memorable line and is the only reflective point in the song.
