From the song

A Look and a Smile نظرة وابتسامة by SNX

A song about being undone by a glance. A look and a smile from her eyes changed him from that day on. He had sworn off love, and her hands bewitched him. He had refused her, but she made him laugh, and he told her she was the greatest woman of his life. His heart was not his to command, and she took his mind. She gave him a taste of the bitter cup, and he was rebellious in love until he fell. He had not known any woman like her.

Deeper meaning

It is the song of a man who had decided he was done with love and was undone in a moment by a smile. The laugh is the weapon, since it defeats a vow he had made against being hurt. The story is old, but the specific detail, that her laugh ended his refusal, makes it fresh.
